Guidewire Test Engineer (Claim Center)

Essential:

• Experience working in Guidewire applications (claim center, billing center & policy center)
• Experience working in the Insurance industry
• Experience in agile working methodologies
• Experience in driving Test Planning, writing test cases and completion reports
• Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in workshops to provide testing inputs and assess the required effort to understand the requirements, write test cases, execute and document results.
• Plan and execute functional testing (ST, SIT and UAT) throughout the Project Sprints
• Use knowledge of Guidewire to assist in brainstorming user stories
• Work with the Business (BA and SMEs) to understand requirements and develop test scenarios for each main process, alternate process and exception process flows.
• Execute tests and coordinate with Developers accordingly to:
• Validate that features are developed as per requirements
• Confirm if an issue is a defect
• Monitor defects and retest as needed

• Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information
• Participate and contribute to scheduled Sprint Review, Retrospective and Planning meetings
