Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware and Network Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting computer hardware, network systems, and related infrastructure. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operation of all hardware and network services within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Assemble and upgrade computer hardware as needed
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, software errors, and networking problems
• Set up and manage LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and wireless networks
• Monitor and manage network performance and security
• Perform routine system backups and data recovery
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and update asset records
• Provide technical support to internal users onsite and remotely
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and replacements
• Document processes, issues, and resolutions

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Hardware & Networking / BSc IT / BCA or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (freshers with strong skills can apply)
• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking protocols, and operating systems
• Hands-on experience with network tools and diagnostic software
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing, cabling, and internet troubleshooting
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, CCNA, or MCSA are an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Work Conditions:

• May involve on-site visits to troubleshoot systems
• Ability to lift and move equipment if needed
