Hardware & Network Engineer (Linux Server)

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Hardware, Network & Linux Server Specialist to manage and support our IT infrastructure, including physical hardware, networking equipment, and Linux-based servers.

Key Responsibilities:Hardware & Infrastructure:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate repairs or replacements.

Linux Server Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
• Monitor server health, performance, and logs; automate routine tasks with shell scripts.
• Apply security patches and system updates regularly.

Networking:

• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
• Ensure secure and stable LAN/WAN and internet connectivity.
• Implement and maintain VPN and remote access solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Linux server administration (minimum 1 –3 years).
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and TCP/IP protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Certifications like RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA..
