Overview

As a PHP Developer at Healthians, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our core platform and related applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions that directly impact the health and well-being of our customers. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for both our users and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications, ensuring high performance and scalability for Healthians' growing user base.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices to maintain code quality and facilitate future development.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring a cohesive and functional user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identifying and resolving root causes to minimize downtime and maintain system stability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
• Optimize application performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to improve responsiveness and efficiency.
  
  

• Proven ability to develop and maintain PHP applications using frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Solid grasp of relational database concepts and experience with MySQL or similar databases.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
