About This Role:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer III, this individual is an accomplished team contributor demonstrating strong competency in technical skill, collaboration, and growing mentorship. This individual works across the full software development lifecycle with ownership, curiosity, urgency, and creativity. This individual will reliably execute implementation and architectural guidance, taking responsibility for the quality, sustainability, and outcomes of the services and features delivered.
The successful candidate will apply sound technical judgment and contextual awareness to decision-making, tackling problems with curiosity and creativity to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. The candidate will balance speed with engineering excellence and demonstrate urgency in delivering customer value. Through clear communication and active collaboration, this individual will strengthen shared engineering standards and help elevate team performance. This individual will proactively identify risks, improve systems, and support closure of priority work to drive collective success.
Typical experience for this level is three to six years of engineering work.
Job Description:
- Design and implement features across the stack using sound architectural and implementation practices.
- Deliver high-quality, defect-free code by anticipating issues and contributing effectively to code reviews.
- Participate in system-level design discussions by identifying risks, dependencies, and areas for improvement.
- Engage in agile SDLC processes, contributing to planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate clearly across technical and nontechnical audiences to support alignment and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with teammates to remove blockers and improve team performance, providing story-level knowledge transfer and support.
Experience And Impact
- Three to six years developing enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Demonstrated performance as an accomplished team contributor with competency in technical depth, collaboration, and emerging mentorship.
- Ability to actively contribute to code reviews, support implementation decisions, and participate in design discussions.
- Experience across the full SDLC: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Python for services or automation.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript and React.js; React Query preferred.
- Experience with microservice or micro-frontend architectures.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions.
- Experience with SQL.
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows.
- Comfortable participating in refinement, planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Strong cross-team collaboration habits across engineering, product, design, and operations.
- Ability to articulate user value and business context behind engineering decisions.
- Experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch) and/or Neo4j.
- Experience with distributed or event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with observability tools and performance tuning.
- Experience in a data-rich SaaS or platform environment.
- Contributions to engineering standards, tooling, or internal libraries.
