Job Summary:
International Gemological Institute is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR IT Specialist with approximately 2 years of experience to join our dynamic HR team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support and administration for our HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, generating reports, and assisting with the implementation of new HR technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR processes and a passion for leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the HR function.
Responsibilities:
- HR System Administration:
- Provide day-to-day technical support and administration for our core HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Manage user access, roles and permissions within the HRIS.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and data cleansing activities.
- Troubleshoot system issues, escalate complex problems to vendors and follow up on resolutions.
- Configure and maintain HRIS modules, including employee data, organizational structure, and workflows.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS to support HR operations and decision-making.
- Assist in the development of custom reports and dashboards as needed.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and insights.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- System Implementation and Upgrades:
- Participate in the implementation of new HR technology solutions and system upgrades.
- Assist with data migration, testing, and user training.
- Document system configurations and processes.
- Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and guidance to HR team members on the use of HR systems and tools.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for HR users.
- Create and maintain user guides and FAQs.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through the effective use of technology.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to understand their needs and propose technology-based solutions.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR technology policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting and administering HRIS platforms
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
- Proficiency in generating reports and analyzing data from HR systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent1 communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations.
