Overview

Job Title: .NET Developer with InDesign Server Expertise

We are seeking a specialized .NET Developer with demonstrable expertise in Adobe InDesign Server. The successful candidate will have strong proficiency in VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, DCOM ([*optional])*, coupled with a proven track record in server-side automation and workflow integration.

Key Responsibilities

• InDesign Server Integration
• Create and maintain JavaScript (ExtendScript or similar) solutions to automate InDesign workflows.
• Utilize DCOM for inter-process communication, enabling high-efficiency server-side operations.
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and user requirements.
• Document technical processes, configurations, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
• Application Development (optional)
• Develop and maintain .NET (6.0+) applications using VB.NET or C# for seamless integration with InDesign Server.
• Adhere to robust coding standards, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Technical Skills

• JavaScript / ExtendScript
• Ability to develop, deploy, and troubleshoot scripts for Adobe InDesign Server.
• Adobe InDesign Server
• Strong knowledge of server-based workflows, scripting APIs, and performance considerations.
• DCOM
• Hands-on experience with Distributed COM for critical inter-process communication.
• .NET Framework (6.0+)
• Solid proficiency in VB.NET and/or C# for building robust back-end services.
• RESTful APIs & Web Services
• Familiarity with integrating external services, handling JSON/XML, and managing authentication.
• Debugging & Optimization
• Experience in performance tuning and resolving concurrency or memory-related issues.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Adobe Creative Cloud: Exposure to other CC applications and potential integration points.

CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with automated builds

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹75,000.00 per month
