Job Description

The Azure Architect will offer technical leadership in Microsoft Cloud, Azure, and Azure DevOps. include overseeing new implementations, cloud migrations, DevOps practices, governance, and platform strategy, as well as delivering custom solutions through development or configuration tools.

Role

The Azure Architect will also be actively involved early in the engagement with prospective clients. This role entails close collaboration with Executive leadership, technical experts, and business development associates across multiple time zones from Hawaii to North Carolina. Job Functions :

• Advice clients on various solution options, discuss benefits and risks of each, and recommend a solution
  
  

that aligns with the client's business needs and requirements.

• Provide expert guidance and strategic direction on Microsoft Cloud, Azure, and Azure DevOps projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
• Lead the design and delivery of custom solutions using Azure services, either through development or configuration tools, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies, including new deployments, migrations, and integration with existing systems.
• Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet business objectives.
• Execute short term strategic consulting projects on Microsoft Azure, assessments, POC/pilots, map solutions to client business processes, and develop value proposition and business case.

Required Skills And Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and database offerings.
• Strong experience in designing and architecting complex cloud solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges effectively.
  
  

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related and Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and Microsoft Azure.
• 5+ experience leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• 5+ years of experience with agile project methodologies and managing diverse teams across different time zones.
