IT Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, servers, network devices, and software applications, while providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, and other IT-related systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights across platforms.
• Maintain data backups and implement disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure cybersecurity practices and protocols are up-to-date and enforced.
• Provide end-user support and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and solutions.
• Manage IT inventory, including procurement and lifecycle of equipment.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in IT administration, systems support, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
