IT Infrastructure Engineer (Night shift / Trivandrum)

Overview

WORK SCHEDULE - NIGHT SHIFT - 9:30PM to 6:30AM, 5DAYS/WEEK
WORK LOCATION - THIRUMALA, TRIVANDRUM
IMMEDIATE JOINERS FROM TRIVANDRUM LOCATION WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all hardware components, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals.
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades as necessary.
• Ensure hardware assets are inventoried and properly documented.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications used in our healthcare operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and software providers for issue resolution and updates.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive healthcare data.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of servers and network infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents promptly.
• Maintain and enhance IT security measures to safeguard patient data and comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure configurations and procedures.
• Generate reports on infrastructure performance and incidents for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support healthcare-related IT projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
• Operate during night shift hours while offering 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
