The Role

Responsible for managing and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, Linux operating systems, and expertise in hardware troubleshooting, monitoring, and database administration.

What you’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

· AWS Implementation & Management: Deploy and configure AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM. Ensure optimal utilization of cloud resources, including monitoring and optimizing storage, computing, and database resources. Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including patching, updating, and troubleshooting AWS services

· Linux System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers, including Ubuntu and CentOS. Troubleshoot system performance issues, including analyzing logs, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing system configurations. Optimize system configurations for performance, security, and reliability

· Hardware System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware failures in servers and networking devices, including identifying faulty components and replacing or repairing them. Implement hardware maintenance best practices, including documenting procedures, tracking inventory, and scheduling maintenance tasks

· Monitoring & Alerting: Configure and manage Zabbix and Nagios for infrastructure monitoring, including setting up monitoring agents, configuring thresholds, and defining alert rules. Implement proactive alerting and issue resolution processes, including defining escalation procedures, setting up notification channels, and ensuring timely response to alerts

· Database Management: Perform MySQL database backups, including scheduling backups, verifying backup integrity, and ensuring backup retention. Implement database security best practices, including configuring access controls, monitoring logs, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies

· Website & Hosting Management: Implement, renew, and manage SSL certificates, including generating certificate signing requests, verifying certificate issuance, and ensuring certificate installation

· Virtualization & VM Management: Deploy and manage VMs on on-prem environments, including configuring VM hardware, installing operating systems, and managing VM resources. Optimize virtualization configurations for performance, security, and reliability

· Firewall & VPN Configurations: Configure and maintain firewalls, including setting up firewall rules, configuring access controls, and ensuring firewall integrity. Implement VPN configurations, including setting up VPN connections, configuring VPN protocols, and ensuring VPN integrity. Implement security policies to protect internal and external communications, including configuring access controls, monitoring logs, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies

What you’ll Bring

Highly Desirable Skills

· 5+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management

· Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, etc.)

· Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS)

· Expertise in hardware troubleshooting & maintenance

· Knowledge of Zabbix and Nagios for monitoring and alerting

· Experience in MySQL database administration (backup, restore, query)

· Experience in web hosting management, SSL implementation, domain mapping, and DNS configuration

· Experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox)

· Understanding of firewall rules, VPN configurations, and network security

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
