What you can expect from the job

We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our Cloud and Infra services team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Windows and Linux server administration, along with experience managing web servers and hosted services. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and performance of Kerala’s leading online news portal.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers.

Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments.

Manage and troubleshoot web servers such as Apache and IIS.

Support and maintain web services and hosting environments.

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.

Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.

Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Maintain documentation for systems and processes.

Other desirable skills/characteristics

Experience with web hosting and web services management.

Familiarity with AWS cloud services.

Knowledge of Akamai CDN and caching solutions.

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2–3 years of relevant work experience in IT operations or system administration.

Knowledge of ISMS principles and best practices.

Willingness to travel domestic/international.
