Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Security Analyst to join our security operations team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience in threat detection, threat hunting, and security monitoring, specifically with MS Defender, MS Sentinel, and KQL. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s IT infrastructure by identifying vulnerabilities, detecting threats, and responding to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events using MS Defender and MS Sentinel to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats in the network and systems.
• Develop and implement security monitoring and detection strategies to safeguard enterprise networks and systems.
• Use KQL (Kusto Query Language) to query and analyze large volumes of security data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend mitigation strategies to prevent future threats.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure security measures are effectively implemented and maintained across the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 - 10 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on threat detection, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with MS Defender and MS Sentinel for security monitoring and threat management.
• Strong proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language) for querying and analyzing security logs and data.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
