Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Phykon is a leading ITES and digital solutions provider with 18+ years of experience serving clients across the globe. As we strengthen our cloud and infrastructure capabilities, we are looking for a dedicated IT Support Executive to join our Azure Infrastructure Team in Trivandrum.
Role Overview
This is an entry to mid-level role focused on providing technical support for Azure infrastructure and internal systems. You will assist the infrastructure team in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving basic IT issues related to system performance, user access, and service availability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 support for Azure-based systems and internal IT infrastructure.
Monitor dashboards, alerts, and system health across various Azure services.
Assist with user account management, access control, and basic troubleshooting in Azure AD.
Support the setup and maintenance of virtual machines, storage, and networking components under guidance.
Coordinate with the Infra Lead for escalations and incident reporting.
Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Participate in patching, updates, and routine maintenance activities.
Assist in executing scripts and performing configuration changes under supervision.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure infrastructure (VMs, storage, networking, monitoring).
Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of Azure AD, Office 365, or Microsoft 365 environment is a plus.
Good problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn cloud technologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certification (preferred but not mandatory): AZ-900 or any basic Azure/Microsoft certification.
