IT Support Engineer

In your role as a IT Support Engineer, you make the impact we have on our customers measurable. You work for leading brands within the Valtech IT Infrastructure function and feel at home in a challenging, international environment in which you collaborate with other experts and support them.

What You Do

A seasoned Sysytem Engineer with 3+ years of industry experience with below spread of skills set.

Strong business communication (written/ spoken English) & co-ordination skills to work as part of IT support team

Good customer service skills with clear communication, active listening, patience & adaptability that are essential for building positive customer relationships and resolving issues effectively.

Eager to learn new things, contribute as a team player, collaborate and explore ways to resolve technical problems quickly or provide work arounds

Proactive in problem-solving, result oriented and take responsibility & deliver to the assigned IT tasks

Certifications related to Microsoft Server/ Applications or Azure or Networking will be preferred.

What We Ask For

Provide system administration and technical support work for all Valtech India offices in Windows 11, Intune, Defender, Rapid7, MacOS, Jamf, HyperV/ Vmware with intermediate skills on Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking

Install, troubleshoot, resolve issues related to laptop, system administration of Windows 11/ Windows Server, AD, MacOS/ Linux OS, VMs on On-premises/ Azure/ AWS Cloud IT Infrastructure

Basic LAN/WAN, WiFi, Internet troubleshooting/ problem fixing, Installation of LAN Switch/ Router/ WiFi Aps & Printer

Hardware inventory maintenance of all IT hardware using Jira IT ticketing & inventory system

Work/ Co-ordinate with other local and global IT team members to address desktop support issues & document necessary information as per internal processes

Interact with external third parties to address hardware issues/ replacements, warranty claims, Internet connectivity issues, (vendors, service providers & third parties)

Hands-on With Troubleshooting, Problem Resolution, Upgradation & Maintenance

Setting up of Dell/ Apple MacBook laptop hardware, Deployment of Windows/ Mac OS, any MDM & Endpoint protection software

Work experience on Windows 11, Windows Server, Azure AD, MacOS/ Linux, MS Defender, MS Intune, Rapid7

HandsOn with MS Autopilot, MS Office 356, Azure AD & Jira, Confluence tools

Basic network & Internet access troubleshooting from Windows, MacOS, Linux operating systems

Installation of HP Printers, HIK Vision IP Cameras, Logitech Teams devices
