Key Responsibilities:
- IT Support and Troubleshooting Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Troubleshoot system issues and offer solutions to technical problems promptly.
- Hardware & Software Setup Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Ensure all systems and devices are functioning properly and meet operational standards.
- Network and System Maintenance Support the maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring stable internet connectivity, and resolving network issues. Help ensure that all company systems comply with internal IT security policies and protocols.
- User Support Offer on-site and remote technical support to internal employees, answering queries and resolving technical challenges. Maintain a knowledge base of common IT issues and solutions for future reference.
- Data Management and Backup Assist with routine data backups and ensure that company data is securely stored. Support system updates and software installations as required.
- Inventory Management Track and manage IT equipment inventory, ensuring all tools and resources are adequately stocked and available.
- Documentation Document all IT support activities, issues resolved, and resolutions provided to maintain a comprehensive record of activities.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- A strong interest in IT and technical support.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux).
- Understanding of networking principles, internet connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of common software applications and productivity tools.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Communication Skills:
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and users to resolve technical problems.
- Ability to document technical issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Experience or knowledge of cloud computing platforms and tools.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and asset management tools.
