Overview
Role: IT Support Technician
Location: On-site at E-10, Hauz Khas Market, Block E, Hauz Khas, New Delhi
Reporting to the Manager, Systems Technology, this role works with the systems support team. Responsibilities included coordination with key members on the Systems Support team to manage local hardware, software and IT infrastructure at the campus where this role physically resides. This role requires 2+ years of experience, and one has to be organized, motivated, and able to communicate at all levels within the organization. He/she will be able to translate business needs into technical solutions for the client groups and will apply a practical mindset when recommending solutions and coordination with fellow team members on the Systems Support team.
About You:
- Identifies issues staff are having with hardware, software and resolves where possible.
- Acts as the primary local escalation point to the Systems Support team.
- Logs into the ServiceDesk ticket management system to review, resolve, and or escalate tickets for local campus.
- Participates in the evaluation, recommendation, piloting, testing and launch of new hardware, software and apps.
- Participates in various IT initiatives, helpdesk/desktop projects and research assigned.
- Is the liaison with the Systems Team and the primary communication point to local staff during major production issues, upgrades, or scheduled downtime.
- Ready to research questions using online searches, manuals, publications and a variety of resources, including other IT staff and vendors, to troubleshoot and answer customer questions.
- Manages, maintains and improves technical documentation.
- Coordinates with vendors and service providers for in-warranty hardware replacement and service.
- Follows standard guidelines to install and configure new equipment and peripherals, moving and updating equipment for regular replacement and to accommodate staff moves and changes.
- Think outside the box to help improve processes, implement new technologies, and develop innovative solutions.
- Builds positive relationships – works to build or maintain effective relationships or networks with internal or external partners whose cooperation is important to present/future success.

Required Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365 apps
- Windows and Azure Active Directory User and Computer Administration desirable
- MS Exchange/Outlook user account administration
- Experience with M365 in a hybrid platform desirable
- Basic networking skills, CCTV cameras and printers troubleshooting experience desirable
- End-user support for internally developed applications
- Familiar with media streaming devices and systems
- Able to prioritize expectations and recognize when issues/events may affect delivery
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Proficient in English – both oral and written
- Ability to work independently and in a team
