Position Description:
IT System Administrators are responsible for the implementation and technical support of Enterprise’s server infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to the support of Windows Server OS, Hyper -V, VMWare ESX, Office 365, Azure and storage systems. IT Systems Administrators will use tools such as vCenter, SolarWinds, Active Directory administration tools, and PowerShell to manage the environment. The Systems Administrator Level III.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
System Administration & Support
- Manage daily operations of server OS, hardware, and software.
- Troubleshoot application and OS issues.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and decommission servers per lifecycle processes.
- Maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues by investigating errors, analyzing server logs, and resolving connectivity issues with ERP applications.
- Collaborate with vendor support teams to resolve escalated software issues
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Apply a blended skill set across infrastructure management, and business process support
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional knowledge to support enterprise systems effectively Possess foundational knowledge of databases, including troubleshooting and performance analysis.
Documentation & Optimization
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and process flows.
- Identify opportunities for optimization.
Monitoring & Alerts
- Configure alerts and reports using SolarWinds and other tools.
- Use NOC tools to monitor infrastructure health and generate performance reports.
- Respond to alerts and incidents per SLA guidelines.
Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with the security team to resolve vulnerabilities.
- Implement and monitor security controls, patching, and remediation.
Support & Escalation
- Provide Level 3 support with the IT Service Desk.
- Resolve complex issues escalated from Systems Administrator Level 1 and Level 2.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
System Evaluation
- Assess system specs and requirements for compatibility and security.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
Critical thinking and decision-making skills are required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills required
- Experience supporting and maintaining data centre and cloud technologies
- Knowledge of scripting tools such as JSON and PowerShell Ability to work independently
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator or equivalent role
Supervisory/Responsibility:
- Reports to the IT Systems Administrator APAC Lead
Work Environment:
This is an office position.
Position Type:
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
Travel:
Domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position.

Performing the role frequently uses close vision, speech, hearing, and dexterity to operate office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
