Overview

JOB DESCRIBTION:

As an IT Technician in the healthcare environment, your role will be to support the hospital’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that all technology systems, networks, and devices operate efficiently. You will assist senior IT staff with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software, and provide technical support to hospital staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the installation of computers, printers, and medical devices.
• Set up and configure new systems and software for hospital departments.
• Ensure all technology devices are properly connected to the hospital’s network.
• Respond to IT support requests from hospital staff and provide assistance with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Help diagnose and resolve problems related to computers, printers, medical devices, and network connectivity.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance on computer systems, medical devices, and networking equipment.
• Monitor and ensure the performance of the hospital’s IT infrastructure.
• Assist in the deployment of software updates, patches, and security upgrades.
• Ensure systems comply with hospital IT security standards to protect sensitive patient data and information.
• Help with routine data backup and recovery processes to ensure patient and hospital data is securely stored and accessible.
• Assist in monitoring hospital network performance, ensuring stable internet connectivity and proper functioning of systems used by staff.

QULIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic understanding of networking and network configurations.

Pay: From ₹4,500.00 per month
