You Are

Primary responsibility will be to participate in the creation of new products and enhancements to existing products from requirement to launch as part of a cross functional team involved in the development of Application Lifecycle Management Tools. And required to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, sustain and document software changes for new requirements, enhancements and defects.

The Opportunity

• Perform analysis, design and implementation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, processes, and product / program requirements
• Engage with global teams to effectively translate customer requirements to software requirements and identify potential solutions that are optimized to operate with in constraints of the product
• Troubleshoot variety of complex software problems
• Provide timely status updates and proactive communications on issues to the stakeholders.
• Able to interface with internal stake holders regarding software issues.
• Contribute as part of teams put together to meet overall organization initiatives/objectives.
• Have the ability and willingness to acquire in-depth understanding of the existing products and apply that knowledge to develop new products and to deliver enhancements/ fixes for customer requirements
  
  

What Are We Looking For

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation with strong background in software development.
• 4~6 years of experience in product software development
• Prior experience of working in global teams and interfacing with multiple stake holders
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills and technologies as needed
• Ability to meet objectives, goals and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of Java, maven, and spring framework.
• Experience in Java 8 new features and functional programming.
• Experience in any of the web server/application server.
• Proven proficiency in API development (REST).
• Experience in frontend development - JavaScript, Vue.js/React/Angular/Next or another popular framework (we use Vue.js)
• Experience of development in Linux environment.
• Experience with Git or other source control system.
• Basic understanding of web development.
• SQL: MySQL(required), Postgres.
• Scripting languages: python/php/bash or powershell.
• Good to have o Atlassian internals (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) - you will develop integrations for this product. o Windows administration experience.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB) is a plus. o Ability to work with Linux command line is a plus. o Azure cloud experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact with extended teams spread across the globe.
