Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust and scalable backend systems using Java (Spring Boot, Java 8+).
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, including services like EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.
- Work with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Ensure code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, testers, and product managers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and infrastructure.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
- Familiar with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Developer / Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level).
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
- Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.
