Job Description: Mid/Senior Java Developer
Scope of Work
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid/Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Software Development

Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Write clean, efficient, and scalable Java code.

Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth functionality.

Identify and fix software bugs and performance issues.

2. Reporting & Documentation

Create and maintain technical documentation, including code annotations, system configurations, and design specs.

Provide regular status updates to managers and stakeholders.

Assist in project planning, estimation, and tracking of development tasks.

3. Support & Maintenance

Provide ongoing support for deployed Java applications.

Resolve issues reported by end-users and implement necessary updates and patches.

4. Adherence to Best Practices

Follow established coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices.

Ensure high levels of code quality, reusability, and readability.

5. Collaboration

Work closely with fellow developers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design, and implement solutions.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Desired Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and Advanced Java (J2EE).

Strong understanding of OOP principles, algorithms, and data structures.

Proficiency with Java frameworks and libraries: Spring, Hibernate, JavaFX.

Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.

Knowledge of version control systems like SVN and Git.

Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).

Development experience in IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.

Exposure to RESTful services, microservices architecture, and AWS.

Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.

Basic knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with multithreading concepts.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Familiar with project management and CI/CD tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Bamboo.

Qualifications
