Java Developer (Spring Boot and SQL)

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our CDIO IB-Financing team. This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing web applications to meet complex business objectives and user requirements. The Java Developer will contribute to Synechron’s strategic goals by delivering high-quality, efficient Java-based solutions that drive innovation and improve performance.

Software Requirements

• Required:
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Multithreading, and SQL.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  

Overall Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and business objectives to develop Java-based applications.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions using Java Core, Spring, Hibernate, and Multithreading.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide architecture.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
• Triage product or platform issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources and impacts.
• Challenge vague requirements to gain clarity and avoid costly assumptions.

Experience Requirements

• Proven 3+ hands-on experience in Java development, including Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Multithreading.
• Industry experience in financial services and understanding of financial projects is preferred.
