Java Developer (Struts)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer with hands-on experience in the Struts framework to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies along with solid experience in designing and developing web applications using the Struts framework (preferably Struts 2).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, J2EE, and Struts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews and unit testing to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
• Maintain existing applications and implement enhancements.
• Follow best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong working knowledge of Struts 1.x or 2.x framework.
• Proficient in JSP, Servlets, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JDBC.
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Ant.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of other Java frameworks like Spring or Hibernate.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services.
• Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
