General Summary

Looking for a passionate Jave full-stack Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the design, development and maintenance of enterprise scale applications using Java and other open-source frameworks like Spring boot and Micro Services. Having experience in AWS or any other Cloud technology is a plus.

Responsibilities / Skillsets

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
• Ability to work with stakeholders including Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams, understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, and delivery of high- quality product to users.
• Exhibit a wide variety of professional characteristics such as debugging, problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Provide project support on back-end/front-end applications, integration, and required test harnesses to meet business requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing high performant data processing solutions.
• Independently write reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Execute technical tasks related to system integrations and APIs under direct supervision.
• Contribute to designing, building, and deploying software pipelines with supervision.
• Efficiently complete tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines in the software development process.
• Actively engage with team members, seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in IT Software Development.
• Participate in technical discussions within the project team.
• Have ability to work on independently with minimal guidance.
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
• Thoroughly review technical documentation for straightforward projects under the guidance of a supervisor.
  
  
  

Technical Skillsets

• 2-4 years of experience with Java and other object-oriented languages.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Micro services is a must.
• Experience with AWS or any other Cloud solution is highly preferred.
• Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
• Excellent communication/inter-personal skills a must
• Skilled in data processing using XML, JSON data formats and strong knowledge SOAP, REST, Service Oriented Architecture is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge is required.
• Proficient in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
• Experience with one or more application servers (WebLogic or Tomcat)
• Experience with build tools such as MAVEN, Gradle and development environments and IDE's (Eclipse/IntelliJ)
• Expertise with one of the GIT / Source Code Versioning tools.
• Experience with unit testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit/Mockito.
• A quick learner with the ability to handle development tasks with minimum or no supervision.
• Should have the ability to work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical field (e.g. Business, Humanities, Marketing).
  
  
  

OR

3+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Candidate Should Have

• 2-4 years of experience in development web applications using Java technologies.
• Hands-on experience on Java, Spring framework, Micro Services.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge.
• Experience ReactJS/AngularJS, HTML, CSS3, Typescript is a plus.
• Clear understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, Microservice Architecture.
• Experience in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with build tools such as MAVEN or Gradle.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
