About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1 - Provision, deliver, and support IT infrastructure including building, monitoring, patching, and fixing production issues.
2 - Manage incidents, changes, process management, OS patching, and vulnerability mitigation.
3 - Build Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to automate cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
4 - Set up alerting and monitoring using tools like AppDynamics and BMC Patrol.
5 - Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines integrated with GitHub and Ansible.
6 - Handle version control, resolve branch conflicts, and troubleshoot Git-related issues.
7 - Work with DevOps lifecycle, code scans, REST APIs, Postman, and Python as needed.
8 - Maintain proper documentation, ticketing, and collaboration through JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Skills required:

Other Requirements:
1 - Strong knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible, and Nexus.
2 - Hands-on experience with Unix (RHEL) and Windows OS on-premises and GCP.
3 - Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Stake Driver (GCP).
4 - Knowledge of networking (DRN, DMZ, iDMZ, Connect:Direct, sFTP) and database systems (SQL Server, Oracle).
5 - Familiarity with storage systems (NAS/SAN, GCS Bucket), ETL tools (DataStage, Dataflow), and protocols/data migration (TCP/sFTP, Juniper).
6 - Understanding of release management, production troubleshooting, and process documentation.
7 - Ability to create, modify, and understand Ansible playbooks.
8 - Experience in building Linux and Windows infrastructure and configuring applications on these OS.
