Overview
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in managing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation—leveraging tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Nginx, and more. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth deployment cycles, scalable infrastructure, and secure cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Shell Scripting, and Python.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring seamless deployments and rollbacks.
Set up, manage, and monitor Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
Configure and optimize Nginx as a reverse proxy/load balancer for applications.
Work with Cloudflare for DNS, caching, WAF, and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot issues in development, test, and production environments.
Collaborate with developers to optimize code deployment and streamline workflows.
Implement security best practices, monitoring, and disaster recovery plans.
Write documentation and maintain operational runbooks.
Key Skills & Technologies:
Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash/Shell Scripting, Ansible
Web Server/Load Balancer: Nginx
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab CI
Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (optional but a plus)
Networking & Security: Cloudflare, VPN, Firewalls, IAM policies
Version Control: Git
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools (preferred but not mandatory).
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
