Jr Python Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Junior Python Developers with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Python development and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and assist in developing Python-based applications.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Assist in integrating front-end components with back-end logic.

Work with SQL or NoSQL databases to manage data effectively.

Help design and implement simple, scalable database structures.

Fetch and manipulate data from APIs or databases (REST/HTTP/WebSockets).

Write and maintain unit tests using pytest or unittest.

Support debugging and resolving technical issues with guidance from senior developers.

Participate in team code reviews and learn from best practices.

Communicate progress and blockers to the team effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Python developer.

Familiarity with at least one Python framework such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Basic experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL); exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices basics.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Familiarity with ORMs like Django ORM or SQLAlchemy.

Basic knowledge of Docker, Nginx, or Uvicorn is an advantage.

Awareness of authentication/authorization principles.

Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React or Vue is a plus).

Knowledge of unit testing and interest in writing clean, maintainable code.

Willingness to learn tools like CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, or message queues (Kafka, etc.).

Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is desirable.
