Bright-River provides Visual Content services to the larger e-commerce and retail companies around the world. Our 2D and CGI visual experts deliver product visual content daily using our in-house developed platform and applications. Our Business Technology team is a dedicated team of engineers and developers working on our application stack and platform. We are spread across our offices in Chennai, Netherlands, New York and Bangladesh.

- Apply what you learn.
- When you see an opportunity to do things better as a team, don't shy away from proposing and setting new standards across the team.
- Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server basics.
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
- Basic understanding of pipeline stages: build, test, deploy.
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Good knowledge in containerization tools(e.g.: Docker) and container orchestration tools(e.g.: Kubernetes)
- Exposure to tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Introductory experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
- You understand network security concepts, IP, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS protocols, and how you can keep things secure.
- Fluent in English
Few Chores You Either Own Or Contribute Towards
- Using outstanding DevOps skills, you contribute to the deployment and operations of our in-house applications. The applications are used daily by our Bright River colleagues and our customers.
- You will own daily operations of Azure and AWS based resources like K8s and API gateway.
- Improving and supporting our CI /CD, development, and production environments.
- Creation and monitoring of application metrics to ensure optimum service availability and uptime
- Automation of development, testing, and release processes
- Identify and troubleshoot performance and stability issues; assist the development team in troubleshooting production issues
- Work with developers to influence design, development, and deployment for reliability and scalability
- Our teams work with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- You feel the ownership of the code you develop. You will build, own and run the applications with your team.
- DevOps mindset: Applying your DevOps skills to find the right balance between delivery speed and quality. Our aim is to automate everything and deliver on a continuous basis with a high level of quality.
- You will be doing some out of hours shift work as part of a team rotation
