About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Maintain and optimize the existing PTE-Academic practice application built on Java backend with JavaScript/Bootstrap frontend, ensuring smooth performance across web and mobile devices.
2. Develop and implement new features including AI-powered scoring enhancements, user dashboard improvements, and practice test module refinements based on business requirements.
3. Debug and resolve technical issues, particularly focusing on mobile responsiveness, API integrations, and AI scoring accuracy for speaking and writing assessments.
4. Collaborate directly with the founder to understand PTE test patterns and translate educational requirements into functional technical solutions.
5. Manage database operations, ensure application security, and maintain clean, well-documented code for future scalability.
