About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Junior IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, assist in the maintenance of IT infrastructure, and support surveillance systems. A working knowledge of CCTV systems is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining CCTV systems (cameras, DVR/NVR, network connectivity).
• Monitor CCTV systems and ensure video recording functionality is active and secure.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT and security equipment.
• Support basic network troubleshooting including Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
• Maintain documentation for IT procedures and equipment inventory.
• Assist in the setup of user accounts, email, and access permissions.
• Respond to support tickets and user queries in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar IT support or technician role.
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV camera systems, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with basic networking concepts (IP addresses, LAN/WAN, cabling).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with remote support tools.
• Knowledge of antivirus software, firewalls, and basic security protocols.
• Experience with IT asset tracking or inventory tools.
