Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through thorough testing and reporting of defects. The role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.

· Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and inconsistencies.

· Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand software functionality.

· Identify, log, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).

· Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.

· Work with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) to improve testing efficiency.

· Ensure software meets quality standards and business requirements.

· Participate in agile/scrum meetings and provide input on quality issues.

· Prepare test reports and document test results for stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role.

· Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

· Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

· Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

· Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
