Junior Software Tester

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Manual Software Tester to join our QA team. You will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, reporting bugs, and ensuring that the final product meets the quality standards and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements, functional documents, and use cases
• Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, UI, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Identify, document, and report bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Excel)
• Communicate clearly with developers and project teams regarding issues
• Work closely with the development team to understand features and bug fixes
• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality output
• Support user acceptance testing and post-release verification

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Knowledge of different testing types (Functional, Regression, Smoke, etc.)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong observation skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities
• Basic understanding of web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with MS Excel or test case management tools is a plus

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 0 to 1 year of experience in Manual Testing (Internship experience can be considered)
• Passion to build a career in Software Testing and Quality Assurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
