Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Ultimate Software’s data network infrastructure including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, network taps, tools, and load balancers; both physical and virtual
- Design and maintain continuous integration systems
- Build out test and production network appliances, installation of software and applications via infrastructure as code automation
- Improve, innovate, and create enhancements to existing processes and policies
- Assist in the architecture, design, implementation in both our private and public cloud builds
- Ensure that proper operational plans and documentation are delivered with each initiative
- Provide and maintain clear, consistent, and accurate documentation of network topologies and standards, including documentation of ISO and other related standards and/or regulatory compliance
- Work from ticket queue on provisioning, break-fix, and new initiatives along with maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting all adds, moves and changes to the environments
- Follow routine operational tasks such as device backups, code management, configuration compliance, reporting, environmental and performance management while adhering to security policies
- Perform all tasks within security, governance, and compliance standards and guidelines
Required Qualifications: (If a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification, otherwise it is preferred)
- Minimum of 4+ years of technical network engineering experience
- Background in DevOps, Software Development, Site Reliability, and Systems Engineering.
- Experience with DevOps tools like GIT, BitBucket, and GitHub.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Terraform
- Public Cloud Infrastructure expertise (GCP, AWS, and Azure)
- Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure
- Experience working in a distributed multi-data center SaaS environment.
- Experience with Cisco Technologies
- Experience with Juniper Technologies
- Experience with F5 Technologies
- Knowledge of IP Storage protocols and best practices for storage networking
- Experience with VMware advanced networking including Distributed Virtual Switches, failover configuration, and troubleshooting
