Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Architect to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading data engineering initiatives, building scalable data solutions, and working closely with global stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in SQL, Databricks, PySpark, Azure Cloud, and Power BI, with a strong ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

- Lead the design, development, and optimization of PySpark workloads on Databricks.
- Build scalable, modular, and reusable code using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business users.
- Engage with client stakeholders regularly to provide updates and understand evolving needs.
- Ensure solutions align with overall business objectives and data architecture standards.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of data pipelines in the Azure Cloud environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Databricks, PySpark, Python, and Azure Cloud.
- Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines in Azure-based ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and coding standards.
- Clear and effective communication with client stakeholders.
- 6-7 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in US shift hours (2 PM - 11 PM IST).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering.
