Lead II - Software Engineering - Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Work on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient integration and communication between services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop unit test cases to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
• Integrate applications with Java-based APIs and work with database platforms like DB2, Sybase, and MSSQL Server.
• Work with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) for application deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to best coding practices and participate in code reviews.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and clients to gather requirements and provide updates.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java (6+ years), Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
• Proficiency in Hibernate and RESTful API integration.
• Experience working with relational databases (DB2, Sybase, MSSQL Server).
• Hands-on experience in at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in writing unit test cases for robust application development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Exposure to containerization and cloud-native application deployment.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimizing Java applications.
