Overview
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to and participate in design and architecture discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions.
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for critical systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code, ensuring that designs comply with specifications.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and adherence to software development life cycle best practices, unit testing, agile development methodologies, and CI/CD strategies.
- Optimize and effectively manage the resources and time of team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Maintain a proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks to the product/application.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Promote continuous process improvement, especially in code quality, testability, and reliability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
- 8 - 12 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework (3+ years).
- Solid understanding and practical experience in developing Java Microservices architectures.
- Proven experience with Hibernate ORM framework.
- Strong experience with RDBMS Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience with NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Significant experience in Cloud Environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Containerization systems like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of security best practices in application development.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
