**Position Overview:** 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Scientist - Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 11 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a robust understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for leading data science initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive actionable insights and enhance business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:** 
- Lead and manage data science projects from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks. 
- Utilize Azure Cloud Services to design scalable data pipelines and workflows. 
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions. 
- Implement best practices for data management, model validation, and performance evaluation. 
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics capability, staying current with emerging technologies and methodologies, especially in data science and cloud computing. 
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. 
- Conduct research and implement cutting-edge techniques in areas such as natural language processing and AI using Azure Open AI. 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** 
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 
- 8 to 11 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field. 
- Proficiency in Azure and Azure Cloud Services, with hands-on experience in Azure Databricks and Azure Machine Learning. 
- Strong programming skills in Python, with extensive experience in data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). 
- Familiarity with Azure Open AI and its applications in real-world scenarios. 
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. 
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate within a team. 
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality data science solutions on time and within scope.
