The integrations (applications) built by the person playing this role helps drive transformation goal for the organization by significantly improving the ways the Payments onboarding had been handled previously.

Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)

• 7-10 years of building Enterprise Applications experience.
• Application design and technical ownership (End-to-End) for new integrations or enhancements to existing integrations.
• Performing impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions , proposing additional/alternative solutions/options or trade-offs
• Drive complex technical efforts (solutioning) across one or more engineering teams in Payments team.
• Strong application building experience in Java Microservices, Spring Boot deployed on Containers (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages language – python, Groovy etc.
• Preferred - experience with any of the cloud platform (aws – preferred) serverless applications.
• Build code and deploy/promote it into various pre-prod environments using CICD / Devops.
• Lead trouble-shooting and triage issues in production/pre-production environments.
• Contribute to and drive best practices.
• Strong deployment experience on Containers as well as server platforms.
• Strong development experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases.
• Fix Quality issues and work closely with Quality and business partners to ensure timely collaboration and resolution.
• Fix vulnerability issues reported by automated tools or Quality team members.
• Ownership of Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for the applications owned by the pod/project.
• Expert at design patterns – SOLID, Java-Design, Integration;
• Maintain Solution and Tech architecture for all systems in the domain (e.g payments) and related assets.
• Create documentation to hand off the developed software to App Support teams.
• Provide deployment support to the Application-support team .
• Must have ability to manage the project and lead multiple teams.
