Lead Software Engineer Key Responsibilities

Drive the implementation of AI-powered features that will revolutionize service provider workflows, setting new benchmarks in efficiency and innovation across the industry.

Basic Requirements

• AI-First Mentality: If you're not thinking AI before you even touch your keyboard, this isn't for you. We need engineers who breathe AI and see traditional coding as a last resort.
• Battle-Tested Experience: Minimum 4 years in the trenches of software development, with a focus on production-grade server-side web applications.
• B2B Software Expertise: Proven track record in developing rock-solid, enterprise-level B2B applications that stand up to the toughest scrutiny.
• Cloud-Native Mastery: Hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud-native development or serverless architectures, particularly in AWS environments.
• GenAI Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with advanced GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev). If you're not already pushing these tools to their limits, you're not ready for us.

Working with Crossover

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
