Overview

Job Title: Linux & Cloud L3 Engineer (AWS & Azure)

Experience:

10-12 years of experience in a Linux administration role, with at least 5 years focused on RHEL.

Proven experience in managing and supporting complex RHEL environments.

Demonstrated experience in automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar scripting languages.

Experience with OpenShift and OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and support.

Strong hands-on experience in both AWS and Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.

Experience with cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation/Bicep.

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, policy enforcement, and compliance frameworks.

Experience managing hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS and Azure.

Technical Skills:

Linux Administration: Strong knowledge of RHEL system administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Cloud Expertise (AWS & Azure):

AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, AWS Backup, AWS Organizations.

Azure services: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Defender for Cloud.

Multi-cloud networking, hybrid cloud integration, VPN/ExpressRoute, and interconnectivity strategies.

Automation & DevOps:

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Bash for infrastructure automation.

Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, and Ansible.

Containerization & Kubernetes: Experience with OpenShift, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and EKS (AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service).

Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, and security monitoring tools.

Certifications:

Mandatory:

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certification.

AWS Architect Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

Required (any one of the following):

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional OR Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers in Linux, AWS, and Azure.

Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities.

Job Description:

Linux & Cloud Administration:

Provide Level 3 support for RHEL environments, resolving complex technical issues and escalations.

Perform system maintenance, patching, kernel upgrades, and security hardening for Linux servers.

Manage hybrid cloud environments spanning on-prem, AWS, and Azure, ensuring seamless operations.

Optimize Linux workloads for cloud environments, focusing on performance, cost, and scalability.

Implement and maintain automation scripts for Linux, AWS, and Azure infrastructure.

Design and manage multi-cloud IAM and security policies to ensure compliance.

Cloud Operations & Automation (AWS & Azure):

Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions across AWS and Azure.

Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep.

Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions in AWS and Azure.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.

Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance by implementing governance and best practices.

Containerization & Orchestration:

Manage and support OpenShift, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), and containerized workloads.

Implement best practices for container security, networking, and scaling.

Team Leadership & Resource Management:

Develop and mentor a high-performing Linux & Cloud administration team.

Provide technical leadership and establish best practices for Linux and cloud management.

Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹324,713.01 - ₹1,545,524.35 per year
