Job Description:

RichestSoft is looking for a skilled and driven Linux cum DevOps Engineer to manage our Linux server infrastructure and streamline deployment operations using DevOps practices. This role is ideal for someone with strong Linux administration experience and a solid foundation in automation, CI/CD, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
• Set up and manage DevOps pipelines for CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Automate system and application deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Shell Scripts
• Monitor system performance, log analysis, and ensure uptime and stability
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.)
• Handle Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration (if applicable)
• Implement server security measures (firewalls, backups, SSH hardening, etc.)
• Collaborate with developers and QA for seamless integration and delivery workflows

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux server administration
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems (Git)
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and basic Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell
• Familiarity with Nginx/Apache, MySQL/PostgreSQL, SSL, and DNS
• Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
• Experience in deploying web and backend applications in production environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Certifications like RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or CKA are a plus
• Experience in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
