About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in digital video testing across IPTV and OTT platforms. This role focuses on end-to-end testing of video applications across devices such as Set Top Boxes, mobile devices, and Smart TVs. The individual will collaborate with product and client teams, ensuring high-quality delivery through structured testing, defect tracking, and log analysis

What you’ll do

• Analyse requirements and collaborate with client and product teams to clarify expectations and resolve queries
• Design and review test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Execute tests across multiple video platforms including STB, Mobile, Smart TV, Apple TV, and Fire TV
• Create, track, and retest defects to ensure resolution and quality delivery
• Perform detailed log analysis using tools and techniques
• Provide timely and accurate daily status updates to stakeholders and management

Who you are

• Knowledge of digital video domains, including IPTV and OTT platforms
• Experience in testing Cable and Satellite Set Top Boxes

Knowledge of DRM and CDN technologies

• Experience using network analysis and debugging tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, or Charles Proxy
• Exposure to Android Debug Bridge or Xcode (desirable)
• Familiarity with system integration testing for features such as recommendations and reporting using tools like Splunk (desirable)
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities effectively
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and dynamic environment with distributed teams
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing work environment
• Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
