Manual Test Engineer

Experience in functional testing and system testing of banking applications.Proficiency in writing test cases, test scenarios, and executing manual and automated tests.Knowledge of banking regulatory compliance and security standards.Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center) and defect tracking.Basic to intermediate SQL skills for database testing and validation.Familiarity with integration testing and API testing in banking environments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Strong understanding of banking products and processes, especially:CASA (Current Account and Savings Account) operations including account management, transaction processing, and interest calculation.Fixed Deposits (FD), Recurring Deposits (RD), and Term Deposits (TD) lifecycle including creation, renewal, premature withdrawal, and maturity.Retail banking concepts such as customer onboarding, KYC, loan processing, payments, and transaction monitoring.
