Manual Test Engineer

Overview

• Graduate or post-graduate in Chemical Engineering with 7-10 years of experience
• 5 years of experience working with Process simulation tools for FEED or technical studies in manufacturing industry. Demonstrate high caliber in usage of simulation packages. Expertise in one or more of commercial simulation packages like APSEN Hysys, ASPEN PLUS, Aveva PRO/II, DYNSIM, KBC reactor model tuning or UniSim Design is must.
• Demonstrate expertise in the process operation domain. Experience in manufacturing industry such as Refineries, Petrochemicals, Oil and Gas is an advantage.
• Familiarity to MATLAB, Sequential and simultaneous modelling is added advantage.
• Awareness on software testing , SDLC , Scrum and Agile processes is advantage.
• Must know how to develop Test cases / Scenario looking at the Technical requirements
• Must have good understating on non-functional requirements and related tests mainly on System performance and stability testing
• Must have good knowledge on agile tools like JIRA / Confluence
• Must know about product and defect life cycle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player that puts team first, willing to make difficult decisions and have deep technical conversations while providing clear recommendations
• Added advantage if candidate possess scripting skills
