Network Engineer

Summary:

The Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing network security incidents in the APAC region. The primary objective is to ensure a rapid and effective response to incidents, collaborating with various stakeholders and enhancing the overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, manage, and resolve all network security incidents within the APAC time zone.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate incident response.
• Provide expert guidance on incident handling and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to the development of incident response processes and documentation.
• Report directly to the regional security manager and maintain clear documentation.
  
  

Must Haves:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the network security field.
• Strong experience with firewall migrations and service tower transitions.
• Technical expertise in LAN/WIFI Cisco solutions on a large scale.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto environments (Palo Alto, Panorama) and Zscaler/SDWAN Cisco Catalyst.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues within industrial networks.
• Knowledge of EDR solutions.
• Experience in the industrial network field (OT/ICS networks).
• Understanding IT/OT convergence and securing industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
