About the Team

As part of the Technology Solutions organization, the Enterprise Networking team is accountable for the connectivity and firewall infrastructure that supports all our corporate sites, distribution centers, stores and our outstanding customer service delivery.
About The Role
Provides senior level support for data networks with a specific focus on large multinational store SD-WAN footprint. Role also contributes to support and design of WSI data centers, corporatefacilities, distribution centers, call centers, and eCommerce environments. Candidates will be part of a team that develops, implements, supports, and designs network solutions for IT projects.

Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team that supports network infrastructure
Leverage automation to improve efficiency in processes and workflows
Support tier 3-4 networking escalations that come to you
Support scalable network designs, solutions, and policy standards working with other team members and neighboring engineering groups
Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions.
Routinely monitors all systems within their domain
Mentors, cross trains co-workers within area of expertise
Self-directing and provides direction for others
Participates and documents systems requirements and authors solution designs
Participates in establishing strategies and standards
Creates and manages system capacity plans
Leads, or participates, in installation and configuration activities
Develops and maintains procedures and system documentation
Performs systems resource optimization activities
Contributes and enforces best practices
Inspires teamwork and guides the team
Leads or participates in implementation of resources management and monitoring methods, tools and threshold
Works on many phases of a project or entire projects of moderate complexity
Participates in systems management, and Security Compliance activities
Anticipates risks and provides contingency solutions and timelines
Measurably improves processes and best practices to achieve goals
Assists in career development plans for engineers
Achieves team consent and buy-in

Knowledge of one or more the business area needs and domain systems
Expert knowledge in their domain and intermediate knowledge of one or more related domains
Subject Matter Expertise in multiple areas/systems
Basic coding and scripting skills needed for your domain
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
8+ years of related experience
Technical Competencies Required
You have a BS or MS in Business, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
You have 5+ years of Core Networking Experience
You Have a CCNP Or Equivalent Experience (CCIE preferred)
You are an expert in diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis
You have superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
Deep understanding of numerous networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, DNS, DHCP, proxy functions, security protocols (IPSec, SSL, etc.), Cisco ACI software-defined networking, real-time protocols for voice (SIP, H.323, MGCP), in addition to WAN communications protocols including MPLS, DWDM, OC carrier, BRI/PRI, and QoS strategies and understanding the benefits of micro-segmentation
Hardware: Expertise in Versa SD-WAN, Cisco ASRs, Catalysts, Nexus 9/7/5/2k, F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls. Bonus for expertise in Cisco Viptela, Infoblox
Extensive understanding and competency with SNMP-based monitoring tools, Netflow, and other network-related monitoring and data-gathering tools
Basic scripting skills in Python, Perl, iRules, TCL, Chef/Puppet or Go a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a PC
Ability to communicate in fluent English
Ability to transport materials or equipment or lifting, moving, carrying objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis
Ability to work in office and perform in corporate environment
