About Position:

We are looking for Network Engineers with expertise in Vulnerability patching and code upgrades. The role is part of the Vulnerability Remediation team which handles patch remediation, code upgrade, drift remediation and bulk configuration updates on most Core and Non-Core network devices across datacenter, international sites, branch, campus, and ATMs. Device footprint is ~42000 network devices including router, switch, firewall/proxy, load balancer etc. Vendors include Cisco, Arista, F5, Broadcom, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Avocent. The role also involves working with Critical infrastructure DDI team delivering essential DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP services requiring near-zero downtime.

What You'll Do:

• Work on Scope 1: Vulnerability patching and code upgrades
• Handle patch remediation, code upgrade, drift remediation and bulk configuration updates on most Core and Non-Core network devices across datacenter, international sites, branch, campus, and ATMs
• Manage device footprint of ~42000 network devices including router, switch, firewall/proxy, load balancer etc.
• Work with vendors: Cisco, Arista, F5, Broadcom, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Avocent
• Apply skillset: Routing/Switching, Load Balancing, Network Security, Telecom, configuration management, and vulnerability remediation/Patching
• Hiring distribution: 20 Network Engineer with niche skills ? 3 Sr. Network Engineer with niche skills ? 15 Lead Network Engineer with niche skills - 2
• Work on Scope 2: Critical infrastructure DDI team
• Support DDI team delivering DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP services requiring near-zero downtime
• Handle non critical DNS and DHCP change requests
• Follow runbooks for:
  • Creating changes for repeatable tasks
  • Validating available subnets for new requests
  • Supporting automation teams with basic IP data requirements
  • DHCP scopes migration validation
  • Weekly batch change requests
  • SSH/TLS certificate updates
  • Identifying subnets from Hertitage DC?s that can be reclaimed
  • Client/ customer basic questions on DDI solutions
  
  

Expertise You?ll Bring:

• Skillset: Routing/Switching, Load Balancing, Network Security, Telecom, configuration management, and vulnerability remediation/Patching
• Foundational understanding of core DNS, DHCP & IPAM
• Basic troubleshooting, analysis, and operational support SKILLS
• Exposure to DDI tools, protocols, and standards
• Hands on experience on DNS, DHCP & IPAM on preferable DDI product
• Ability to learn new product specific technologies quickly through hands on work
• Understands basic API and troubleshooting skills
• Experience on change management process in large enterprise
• Good OS related skills on Linux and Windows
