Network Engineer L1 (2+ Years)

Location: Bangalore

Shift Timing: Rotational shift

Experience: 2 - 3 years

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement network security measures to protect organizational data and systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as network connectivity and latency.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth and reliable operation of networks.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on network-related issues.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP, OSPF, and other networking protocols and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with basic switching configuration commands (Cisco IOS, Juniper, etc.).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Diploma, B.Tech, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
