Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Network Security Engineer to design, engineer, and operate cutting-edge security infrastructure that supports scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions. This role will focus heavily on technologies such as firewalls, DDoS appliances, network access control, and orchestration tools to protect clients and their data across global environments. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on expertise in security platforms from vendors such as Radware, Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto, and a strong desire to continuously evolve with the threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, engineer, and operate advanced hybrid DDoS mitigation solutions across corporate offices and data centers.
- Perform detailed analysis of DDoS attacks (vector, volume, duration) and develop trend reports for proactive defense improvements.
- Conduct forensic investigations into complex attacks and act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans tailored to DDoS and other network-based threats.
- Collaborate with internal IT, security, and networking teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure comprehensive and timely protection, detection, and mitigation of security threats.
- Implement and refine network cyber defense strategies and best practices across the enterprise.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security Engineering, with in-depth exposure to Radware, Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto security technologies.
- Deep knowledge of DDoS mitigation, proxy services, VPN, firewall orchestration, and network access control technologies.
- Experience with network hardening, monitoring, and logging tools such as SolarWinds, LiveNX, and the ELK stack.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based security practices, including AWS and Azure native firewalls.
- Ability to remain calm and responsive during high-pressure cyber threat events.
- Strong collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Advanced hands-on expertise with Radware DefensePro, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco security platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of network security best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience with automation/scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) to streamline operational workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team environments.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹327,467.00 - ₹1,440,505.88 per year
